SHREE PRAKASH ASHRAM : MASTERS
Teachings
The Highest Knowledge dawns through the processes of Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan. But making effective use of these processes require a preparation and purification which demands practice of Yoga.Hence, importance of Yogic practices as told by Guru is tremendous. Continuous Sadhana , Seva and Satsanga helps the Sadhaka on his journey from the state of Ignorance, bondage and suffering to state of Knowledge, freedom and Bliss.
Fourfold Qualities desirable for all aspirants are VIvek, Vairagya, Shat–Sampatti and Mumukshatvam.
Vivek is the discrimination between the Real and the Unreal.
Vairagya is the state of dispassion, detachment or desirelessness.
Shat –Sampatti are the six virtues or wealths for any seeker. These are Sham, Dam, Uparati, Titiksha, Samadhan and Shraddha. Sham is Mental Restraint or control of the mind. Dam is Physical Restraint or control of the senses. Uparati is withdrawl from the world of objects. Titiksha is endurance for all pair of opposites. Samadhan is clarity and concentration on the activities conducive for Vedantic Path. Shraddha is faith in the teachings of Vedantic Declarations as imparted by Guru.
Mumukshatvam is the burning desire for liberation from all bondages, sufferings and ignorance whatsoever.
All seekers should live in such a way that existing Vasanas are exhausted but no new impressions are created. This will lead to gradual purifications and facilitate spiritual progress. One should not lose time and make use of every single moment for achieving the highest Goal of Self Realization.
Diksha or initiation from a Realised Guru is essential for awakening the dormant Shakti inherent in the Sadhaka which then guides and facilitates his journey on the path divine. This is also termed Shaktipat in Siddha Yoga Traditions. Realization of the oneness of Atman and Brahman is the Mahayoga. In the highest state, the world of name and form ceases to exist and only the ultimate Truth remains which Alone IS. All identifications of Sadhak in external as well as internal planes get dissolved and one gets established in ones true state which is of the nature of Sat – Chit – Ananda.
